This is Setup Type Lab, a space for pre-release typefaces, unfinished fonts, unreleased custom fonts, sketches, and experiments.

Every font here is available for licensing, but I strongly recommend reviewing the character set and OpenType features carefully before purchasing to ensure it meets your needs. If something is missing, just reach out — I’ll be more than happy to make an update.

I’m great at starting things but remarkably bad at finishing them. Some projects get archived after meeting a client’s basic requirements, while others stem from fleeting ideas. Sometimes, I push a typeface far beyond the original scope—only to stop just short of the finish line. But no matter where I leave off, the result is always a usable font.

For years, these works-in-progress fonts were accessible only to my friends and long-time clients. Whole books, identities, and campaigns have been designed with them, each project nudging the fonts a little further along. Now, I’m opening up this collection to everyone — hoping that real-world use and feedback will motivate me to refine and complete these fonts sooner.
